In summer 2026, East Asia recorded successive extreme heat events.

Seoul remained near 40°C for consecutive days. Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, exceeded 42°C.

The Korean government treated extreme heat as a national-level disaster. Rural areas used drones to warn aging agricultural workers. Sports altered match times or suspended leagues. Urban populations moved into underground and commercial cooling spaces.

China recorded extreme heat in Xinjiang, Sichuan, Chongqing and elsewhere. Metro stations and underground facilities were used as public cooling space.

The observation is not the temperature itself. Climate conditions appear to be directly limiting the hours, and the spaces, in which human activity remains possible.

2026年夏、東アジアでは極端な高温が相次いだ。

韓国ではソウルで40℃近い高温が続き、慶尚南道・梁山では42℃を超える異常高温が観測された。

韓国政府は猛暑を国家レベルの災害として扱い、農村ではドローンによる高齢農業従事者への警戒、スポーツでは試合時間変更やリーグ中断、都市部では地下空間・商業施設への避難が起きた。

中国でも新疆、四川、重慶などで極端な高温が発生し、地下鉄駅や地下施設が市民の避暑空間として使われた。

ここで重要なのは、気候条件が、人間の行動可能時間・労働可能時間・活動可能空間を直接制限し始めていることである。
